The works done are part of the renovation of one of the homes located on the ground floor of this building dating from the end of the 19th century, designed by the architect Luis Aladrén Mendivil for Mr Andrés de Covarrubias. The property, designed from the beginning as a building for rented housing, is one of the best examples of the so-called eclectic style defined during the last quarter of that century. The works performed inside the property, renovated as an office, mainly involved the restoration of the attractive interior stained glass, the restoration of the entrances and the polychrome woodwork, the repair of walls in poor condition and the restoration of the ceiling of one of the rooms to be used as a meeting room. The owners were delighted with the quality of the works designed and have proposed extending the scope of the work to other parts of the property.
